What
should be the ideal length of my resume? |
|
There is no ideal length for a resume. Remember that the employer
has no more than 15-20 seconds to go over your resume. We advice
being concise and truthful while making your resume, with stress
on the relevant skills and achievements.
A
one-page resume is highly recommended, also desirable by many employers.
A resume of more than 2 pages is not advisable unless you have very
strong reasons to do so.

Is
there a difference between a resume submitted online and via traditional
mail? |
There is no difference in the format and presentation of the resume.
However, resumes submitted online generally go to a database,
and employers search the database using key words. So make sure
that you include the key words in your resume. This is important
even for a resume sent through traditional mail, but its is a
critical filter for online resumes.
